RAS1 S-Beam Load Cell USB Kit (24 bit)

Named for their distinctive S shape, S-Beam load cells (or S beam Load cells) are one of the most versatile load cells available in the market and offer the best solution for applications that need both tension and compression force measurement. They are most often found in applications such as cable strength testing, harness testing and rip strength of cords, ropes and wires. The RAS1 is made from tool steel and is available in capacities from as little as 25 lb. up to 25,000 lb. This load cell has very good accuracy, stability and easy mounting features especially for in-line tension testing applications where two threaded rod-ends or eye bolts can be easily attached to the threaded female holes on the two ends of the S-Beam load cell.

This kit includes a RAS1 S Beam load cell, a DI-1000U USB load cell interface and LV-1000 LoadVUE Pro load cell display and plotting software. You just need to add a calibration service so that they are factory calibrated together and are ready to use out-of-the-box.

High Data Output Rate Options

Normal data rate for DI-100U USB load cell interface is about 40 readings/sec and for the DI-1000U it is 80 readings/sec. You can add the high speed option to your order to get the data rate of the DI-100U to up to 275 readings/sec or the DI-1000U to up to 500 readings/sec. The high-speed option pricing shown below includes upgrade to the high-speed version of LoadVUE as well.

Calibration Options

After you've picked a load cell and interface device if needed, please select a calibration option from those shown below. It could be digital calibration or analog (0.5 to 4.5 VDC) calibration. And the mode can be compression only, tension only or universal. You MUST select and pay for at least one calibration if you are purchasing a load cell with an interface device.
