LoadVUE® HS-10K (LV-1000HS-10K)
LV-1000HS-10K is a High Speed Single Channel Load Cell Software to Display, Log & Plot Force at up to 50 KHz data update rate on a Windows PC or Tablet. It works with our DI-1000UHS-10K high speed load cell USB interface.

It is often used together with our resistive load cells or resistive scales to measure dynamic or impact forces. It offers an easy to use solution to capture peak forces and force time curves at a modest price point. You can change units, see Peak and Low Values, and capture data into a CSV file. A typical configuration with one of our load cells or a "scale" with a platform and base are shown below. Any resisitvie bridge type load cell can be used with the DI-1000UHS-10K High Speed USB Interface and the LV-1000HS-10K software.
This software is optimized to capture data at upto 50 KHz from one connected sensor. It captures data for the user-specified time period and then displays it on screen as a Force-Time plot. One can zoom in to the region of interest to take a closer look. Each license purchased can be used on one Windows 8/10 PC. We recomend at least 8 GB RAM for effective performance.

Capture & Display Force vs Time at up to 50 Khz

You can select the duration for which you want to capture the data. Tare (or Zero out) your sensor before starting your test. Then click on Start.
The software will stay blank until the time elapses. At the end of it all the data is displayed on screen as a Force vs. Time XY Plot. You can change units, Zoom In or Out and see the Peak, Load and difference between the two on screen.
In addition to the raw data shown, you can choose to optionally add a moving average. The number of points to use for the movinng average can be changed based on the number of points captured per second and the level of noise acceptable to you. The averaging will attenuate the peak forces and insert a delay into the results. That is why it is good to see both the raw values (to see the peak forces) and the moving average.
Region of Interest
Sometimes there might be multiple events during a test with its own local Peak/Low values that a user might be interested in. For such cases, we provide a special Region of Interest feature. You can set the time interval (beginning and ending times) on the plot that is of interest to you. The software calculates the Peak/Low/Delta between the two in THAT region.

Logging Data to a CSV File
Your test data can be captured into a CSV file and opened later in Excel, Matlab or other programs. The file consist of a time stamp and Force value per line. So if capturing data at 10 Khz, you'll have 10,000 lines of actual data with some initial header with information about the test.

Sample Data Files
Here are two sample data files (in CSV format) captured during a one foot drop test of a plastic object. The data was captured at 50 kHz. Each file has over 150,000 points. Since Microsoft Excel can graph only 32,000 points, you may need to use other software like R, Matlab etc to graph this data.
Our reasonably priced solution provides a very practical method of computing the actual measured forces as experienced by our sensor. The platform provided as part of our solution makes it easy for users to place test samples that will be subjected to the impact.
NOTE: You can use ANY of our resistive load cells and mate it with either the DI-1000UHS-1K (up to 1 KHz) or DI-1000UHS-10K (up to 50 KHz) high speed interface devices to create your own unique combination needed for your application. Just have to add SensorVUE software or LV-1000HS-10K software respectively to display, log and plot data on a Windows PC/Tablet.
