S2U Serial TTL to USB-A Adapter Replacement Kit
The following products need the S2U Serial-To-USB adapter to communicate with a PC running Windows, Linux or MacOS operating systems. The base output of these devices is Serial TTL (Serial) and the USBA adapter converts the signal into a USB signal:
- iLoad Series USB Load Cells
- DQ-1000U Capacitive Load Cell Interface
- DQ-4000/DS-4000 Load Cell Interfaces/Load Cell Indicator
- DI-100U USB Load Cell Interface
If your computer or software fails to recognize the above load cells or the interface units, then it is possible that the S2U has failed. Some of the symptoms are:
- No COM port (serial port) is detected by the device manager.
- Even if one is detected, the software is not able to detect the load cell.
- The LED on the DI-1000 is not blinking.

PLEASE NOTE this is a proprietary adapter designed for use with Loadstar Sensors products only. Do not substitute with other adapters since this might damage your load cells.
