How it Works
Once you have signed-in to your nCounter Cloud account, you can connect the scale to your computer or tablet. Just connect the scale to your computer via the USB and click on the Connect button.
Select the matching serial number of the scale to connect the scale to nCounter Cloud.
To add a new item, select Add Part menu item. Define the part and specify its piece weight, and click on Save button. Once added, this part will be added to the database for future use. You can also calculate the piece weight by placing a few items, say 10 pieces, and take the average weight of these pieces to set the piece weight. To select a pre-defined part, you can simply select it from a drop down list.
Once the part has been defined, you can simply select it from a drop down list as shown. If the item is not in the database, you can add it to the database for future use by clicking on the Add Part menu item.
To Tare the scale, simply place the empty container on the scale and select Tare to zero out the initial value.
After selecting the item and taring the scale with the container, press the Start button. Place the items to count in the container. You will see how many items are in the container in real-time. The accuracy is at least 1 part in 1000 parts and as much as 1:5000 counts for our best digital scales.
