Our Center of Gravity measurement solution makes it easy to estimate the Center of Gravity of an object experimentally by placing it on our multi sensor digital USB scale. The scale comes pre-built using four load cells connected to a four channel USB load cell interface. It comes precalibrated and ready to use, in some standard capacities (4 x 50 lb = 200 lb; 4 x 100 lb = 400 lb; 4 x 250 lb = 1000 lb; 4 x 500 lb = 2000 lb) with an accuracy class of +/- 1 % of full scale. The standard size is 2 ft x 2 ft but can be customized if needed to a larger or smaller size. If you would like to build your own custom size CG scale, please take a look at the CG kit we offer.

The LV-4000CG LoadVUE Pro Center of gravity software provided can be used on a Windows 8/10 PC or Tablet to display and log the individual corner weights from each of the four load cells as well as the location of the Center Of Gravity with respect to the coordinate system etched on the surface of the CG Scale.
