Our iLevel capacitive level sensors are designed to detect the level of substances such as liquids, granular materials and powders. The iLevel sensors are based on our patented capacitive sensing technology which offers unprecedented sensitivity in a rugged package.

single - Load Cell

Our iLevel capacitive level sensors can be built in two configurations. The first one can be applied outside a non-metallic tank and is a contact free method of measuring levels. The second configuration can be used in metallic or non-metallic tanks by immersing the sensor into the material being measured. This version is suitable for non-corrosive materials.

Note:  We build and ship these sensors to order depending on various custom parameters such as max height to be measured, output type needed etc.  We do not stock these sensors, so the lead time for shipping these sensors is around 4 weeks after receiving a firm non-cancellable order.

Intelligent Force Measurement using Revolutionary Capacitive Sensors

Please Note that Flex series sensors are not currently in production. If interested in placing large quantity orders, contact us for further discussions.

For small quantity orders, please consider the other sub-miniature load cells RSB5 and REB5 that might be potential substitues for the iLoad Flex.

RSB5 sensor comes in 10 lb, 50 lb, and 100 lb capacities, and has diameters less than 10 mm and height as low as the 3.5 mm.

REB5 sensors are available in 2 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg, and 100 kg with a diameter less than 13 mm and height as low as as 7 mm.

The Flex series of sensors are designed to address applications where size is of critical importance. They are based on our patented capacitive force sensing technology which offers unprecedented sensitivity in a rugged and tiny package. The high level analog (0-5V DC) or digital Serial/USB outputs, makes it easy to incorporate into OEM products or into test & measurement and process control applications.

Potential Applications

These sensors enable a wide variety of OEM applications at an attractive and affordable cost point. We provide generous application prototyping, testing and development support to OEM customers who want to utilize this revolutionary technology.

How it works

Flex Diagram - load cell

Simply connect the load cell to the CI-1000 Digital Load Cell Interface & use the USB out port on the CI-1000 to connect to a PC via the USB port. The load cell appears on the PC as a virtual COM port. Using a standard terminal emulator send commands to the sensor to display loads on screen. They can either be one at a time or in continuous operation mode. Alternatively, use an application (LoadVUE or LoadVUE Lite) to simplify load measurements on a PC.

Multi - Load Cell

Simply connect the iWeigh Pro scale to a PC via the USB port. The scale appears on the PC as a virtual COM port. Using a standard terminal emulator send commands to the sensor to display loads on screen. They can either be one at a time or in continuous operation mode. Alternatively, use an application (Load cell software LoadVUE or LoadVUE Lite) to simplify load measurements on a PC. Additionally, connect a DS-3000 Display and view the loads on the built in LED display.

Inventory Management

COG
Many parts suppliers, whether they are manufacturers, distributors or vendors, are tasked with the problem of maintaining adequate inventory at their customer's point-of-use sites. If a customer runs out of inventory, it could shut down the customer's entire production line. Before our weight based inventory solution, most parts suppliers have had to hire people to visit remote customer sites and do manual inventory counts and orders.
