Here's How It Works
Simply connect the digital load cell to a PC via the USB port. The digital load cell appears on the PC as a virtual COM port. Using a standard terminal emulator send commands to the sensor to display loads on screen. They can either be one at a time or in continuous operation mode. Alternatively, use our software (LoadVUE) to simplify load
measurements on a PC.
Application Development
If you are looking to develop your own custom software application, these sensors offer convenient ASCII commands to obtain calibrated load information directly from the sensor without need for any signal conditioning, calibration or data processing.
With just a few commands you'll be able to incorporate load/force/weight information into your application. Click here for an example of sample commands.
You can use Visual Basic, Visual C++, Matlab, LABView or any other application development environment to create your custom applications with our sensors.
Optional Analog Output
If you are looking for load cells with analog output (0-5V DC), check out our
iLoad Analog, iLoad TR Analog or the
iLoad Pro Analog load cells. Users seeking a frequency based output should review our miniature load cell which is only 1.25 inches in diameter.
