SC-1200 Quick Start Guide
Install LoadVUE first. This will install the drivers needed.
Plug all the load cells to SC-1200’s sensor ports. (The picture shows 9).
Plug in the power supply module to DC-IN and power up. Verify SC-1200’s Green LEDs are on.
If you disconnect sensors or add sensors, it is better to power down SC-1200 and then power it back up before running the software. Otherwise, SC-1200 may report the attached sensors incorrectly.
-
If you have a Zigbee dongle, then your SC-1200 is wireless enabled. Physical connection to the computer is not required. Simply connect the Zigbee dongle to any of the computer’s USB ports. Also make sure the jumpers on the back are set to 1-ON, 3-ON, everything else-OFF.
- If you do not have a Zigbee dongle, then you need to connect the SC-1200 directly to the computer. Connect SC1200’s Uplink-Z port to the RS422-to-USB adapter (see below). Then plug the USB to an available port on your computer. The Windows OS will automatically assign a COM port. Note: The blue cable is a standard Ethernet CAT5E cable. If longer length is required, you may substitute this cable with a longer Ethernet CAT5E cable for up to 100m.
