If you sell anything commercially on the basis of weight in the United States, you need to use scales certified with the NTEP certification approved by the Bureau of Weights and Measures of the Department of Commerce.  These load cells offer excellent stability with time and temperature from -10 C to 40 C and accuracies to +/- 0.02% of Full Scale loads.

You can use these load cells with displays, AI-1000 analog 0-5V signal conditioners for use with PLCs or DI-100U/DI-1000U for easy connection to PCs for logging and plotting data.


USB Upgrade

Analog to Digital USB Output

Simply connect the load cell to the DI-1000 Digital Load Cell Interface & use the USB out port on the DI-1000 to connect to a PC via the USB port. The DI-1000U is a signal conditioner and 24-bit digitizer and handles all the communications functions to talk with USB port of a PC.  When connected this way, the load cell appears on the PC as a virtual COM port. Using a standard terminal emulator you can send commands to the sensor to display loads on screen. They can either be one at a time or in continuous operation mode. You can also use Matlab, LabView or other popular programs to communicate and get calibrated readings from the load cell.  Alternatively, use our application (LoadVUE) to display, log or plot load measurements on a PC.

If you do not need high precision, you can use the DI-100U digital load cell interface with 16 bit ADCs and Serial TTL or USB output.

In certain applications, you might require an Analog 0-5 V DC output from the load cell to communicate with a PLC or another existing Data Acquisition System.  In such cases, you can use our load cell signal conditioner - the AI-1000 device to obtain a 0-5 V DC Analog output from the load cell.

If you need a physical LED display directly connected to the load cell, then you can purchase the RD-1000 LED load cell indicator with the load cell.
