Resistive Load Cells

Loadstar Sensors offers a wide range of load cells built using bonded foil strain gauge technology. These resistive load cells offer excellent accuracies (as good as +/- 0.02% of full scale accuracy) with temperature compensation usually between -10C to 40C and excellent compensation for off-center loading errors.

Althought the base output of these load cells is millivolt range DC voltage output, we offer a variety of signal conditioning devices that can be used to obtain 0-5V DC analog output, Serial TTL output, USB output or wireless output from the load cell.

iPedal Pro Pedal Force Sensor iPedal Pro Digital Force Sensor is a low profile, easy to use pedal force sensor with mV/V output. It can be use in USB, Wireless or 0-5V DC mode using optional interface devices. Applications include pedal force measurement, brake testing, compression force measurement, and strength measurement for physical therapy and fitness. Low Profile Pancake Load Cell with Through Hole (RSB6) These pancake style resistive load cells have a much lower profile than comprable load cells from competitors. In addition the through hole at the center of the load cell allows users to use it for compression or tension applications. RAL 1 Low Profile High Capacity Pancake Load Cell These pancake load cells are constructed with high grade alloy steel, come complete with 20 foot four wire cable and are designed for heavy duty industrial weighing and testing applications. They come in two configurations - one for compression applications only and the other one with a threaded hole that can be used in tension or compression. They are ideal for tank weighing hydraulic or pneumatic press calibration and other heavy duty applications. RAP3 Single Point Load Cell These single point load cells are suitable for health kiosks and other larger size tote, pallet and floor scales. They have four mounting holes on each side to allow for robust mounting of loading platform and base. They are available in 750 lb capacities. RAP4 Low Profile Single Point Load Cell These single point load cells are suitable for health kiosks (sitting and standing versions) and other industrial weighing applications. They have excellent off center loading error correction and are compensated for temperature variations from -10C to 40C. RAPG Low Capacity Single Point Aluminum Load Cell These small, low profile(70 mm x 15 mm x 22 mm), single point beam load cells are the most commonly used load cells for small precision scales with maximum 6"x6" platform size and capacities up to 3 kg. They offer good off-center compensation and are available in 300 g, 1, 2 or 3 kg. in the small size. RAS1 S-Beam Load Cell Named for their distinctive S shape, S-Beam load cells (or S beam Load cells) are one of the most versatile load cells available in the market and offer the best solution for applications that need both tension and compression force measurement. They are most often found in batching scales, industrial weighing and control systems. REB5 Subminiature Load Cell These tiny sub miniature load cells have excellent accuracy and stability for compression force measurement. They are suitable for applications where there is very little space available for placing the load cells. REB7 Universal Sub Miniature Load Cell These tiny sub miniature load cells have excellent accuracy and stability for compression and tension and universal force measurement. They are suitable for applications where there is very little space available for placing the load cells. RES2 S-Beam Jr, Load Cell The RES2 S-Beam Jr. load cell is a miniature version of the RAS1 S-Beam load cells. These load cells are ideal for tension and universal load measurement applications where space is limited. They are less than an inch wide, less than an inch high and only a quarter of an inch thick.
